Day 1: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC – MUA CAVE (L/D)

07:15 – 08:00: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. We’ll head to Ninh Binh Province, which is about 120 km away.

09:15: Take a short break for 20 minutes to relax.

10:15 – 10:30: Arrive at Vietnam Restaurant and start a 20-minute cycling tour to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. Park your bicycle and walk to visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of Vietnam. Built in the 17th century, these temples showcase impressive traditional architecture.

(If you prefer not to cycle, we will transfer you by bus to Hoa Lu. Our tour guide will meet you there and guide you through the temples. After the visit, we’ll take you back to Vietnam Restaurant.)

11:30: Continue cycling for another 30 minutes through the village to discover local life, then return to the restaurant.

12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch at Vietnam Restaurant, designed in a 5-star style. While dining, you’ll have a panoramic view of Ninh Binh’s poetic mountains and rivers.
Note: Vegetarian options are always available at the buffet.

13:00 – 13:30: Embark on a 1.5-hour boat trip through Tam Coc. During the ride, you’ll be amazed by the scenic beauty of paddy fields, rivers, clouds, sky, and limestone caves. The breathtaking landscape has earned Tam Coc the nickname “Halong Bay on Land.”

16:00: Board the bus and head to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). After a short ride, climb nearly 500 steps to reach the summit of Lying Dragon Mountain. From the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside.

17:00: Transfer to your hotel or bungalow.

17:30: Check in to your room.

19:00 – 19:30: Have dinner at the hotel/bungalow or a nearby restaurant.

Day 2: BAI DINH PAGODA – TRANG AN BOAT TRIP – HANOI (B, L)

07:30: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel/bungalow and get ready for the day.

09:30 – 09:45: Get picked up by minivan from your hotel/bungalow and join the group at Vietnam Restaurant.

10:30: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – the largest and most famous pagoda in Southeast Asia, home to many record-setting features such as 500 stone Arhat statues, a 36-ton bronze bell, and a 100-ton Buddha statue.

12:30: Enjoy a buffet lunch at Vietnam Restaurant with a 5-star design and scenic views.
Note: Vegetarian options are always available at the buffet.

13:30 – 13:45: Visit Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014. Take a 1.5-hour boat ride to admire the spectacular cave system and landscapes that appeared in the 2016 film Kong: Skull Island.

16:00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.

18:00 – 18:30: Arrive in Hanoi and be dropped off at your hotel. Trip ends!

NOTES

• The itinerary and schedule are subject to change without prior notice due to weather, traffic jams or other unforeseen circumstances.

• On weekends, some roads in Hanoi may be closed for the walking street. In such cases, the Thaco Limousine/Shuttle Bus will drop you off at the nearest accessible point in the Old Quarter.
